The AESMR service - what we do
Northern Plains Building Services attends the site and undertakes a careful and thorough survey of the building. The building's Essential Safety Measures (ESMs) are inspected against their logbooks and reports, both hard copies and soft copies.
We then make an independent and qualified determination as to whether the service has been competently undertaken before issuing the AESMR.
A summary of the findings, outlining the status of the ESMs, and recommendations are made. Unlike most other inspectors, we provide photographic verification to AS 1851-2012 standards. We also use a qualified building surveyor to issue the AESMR and summary.

Our Northern community is made up of a variety of services and businesses that serve the whole community on a tight budget. To ensure you are able continue to provide quality, safe and compliant services, we prioritise you by:
- Offering competitive fees, starting at just $250.
- We do not charge call out fees to these areas.
- If our fees are not low enough, we then beat any valid quote by 10%.
- Where passive fire protection ESMs require an inspection, we undertake the inspection, and issue a logbook and report, on the same day for as little as $90.
- Additional service discounts are offered to:

- High schools
- Kindergartens
- Daycare services
- NDIS providers
- Community health centres
- Youth centres
- Aged care centres
- Bulk-bill medical centres
